How to use alumina ceramic foam fitler ?
The ceramic foam filter  plate produced by our company can effectively remove various impurities in the aluminum liquid, and a sealing ceramic fiber liner is pasted around the filter plate to help seal the filter plate in the filter box and ensure that no aluminum liquid comes from Outflow from the side.

Below we introduce the use of alumina ceramic filter plates:

1. Check and clean the debris on the surface of the filter box to keep the filter box clean and undamaged;

2. Gently put the filter plate into the filter box, and press the sealing gasket around the filter plate tightly to prevent the aluminum liquid from flowing sideways or floating;

3. Preheat the filter box and filter plate evenly to bring them close to the temperature of the aluminum liquid. The preheating temperature of the filter plate is not lower than 460°C. The expansion cotton expands when heated and automatically seals the edges. The filter plate is not easy to float and is preheated to remove adsorbed water. It is more conducive to helping the initial opening of the filter pores instantly and preventing thermal expansion and cold contraction from causing partial hole plugs in the filter plate. Electric or gas heating can be used for preheating, and normal heating takes 15-30 minutes;

4. Pay attention to the changes in the aluminum hydraulic head during casting, and maintain the flow control of the normal demand for aluminum liquid. The normal starting pressure head is 100-150mm. When the aluminum liquid begins to pass through, the pressure head will drop below 75-100mm, and then the pressure head will slowly increase;

5. During the normal filtration process, avoid knocking or vibrating the filter plate. At the same time, the launder should be filled with aluminum water to avoid disturbance of the aluminum liquid that is too large or too small;

6. After filtration, take out the filter plate in time and clean the filter box.
